Know Cancer to Beat Cancer: Women’s Cancers Webinar 2021

In this Women’s Cancers Webinar, Dr. Tan Chuan Chien, Head & Senior Consultant, Breast & Endocrine Surgery of Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), together with other healthcare experts covered topics on the top cancers affecting women in Singapore – cancers of the breast, uterus, ovary and cervix.

In Dr. Tan’s segment, he stresses the importance that early detection of breast cancer saves lives, and it is the leading cause of cancer death in women today in Singapore. In order to “know cancer to beat cancer”, Dr. Tan strongly advise women to go for regular breast examination through Mammogram, be self-aware of the signs and symptoms and to know your risks if you are above 40 or family history of breast cancer.
